Für den Preis macht man Nix falsch
War ja erst kritisch ob ich mir von der "Budget-Marke" Numark dieses Teil leisten soll. Als ich dann sah dass darauf EngineDJ OS lief, gab ich dem Teil eine Chance. # EngineDJ OS: Zum EngineDJ OS ... geil! Man merkt dass es für Touch ausgelegt ist, und ein paar Tage vor meinem Kauf kam auch EngineDJ OS 4 raus. Es wird also ständig weiterentwickelt. Das Update verlief problemlos: Controller mit dem WLAN verbunden und geupdated. Cool finde ich auch dass EngineOS auch Rekordbox-USB Sticks lesen kann. Da muss man dann aber jeder Track "onload" ins Deck analysiert werden (

Wahnsinnsteil
Der Numark Mixstream Pro Go hat mir das Auflegen nach jahrelanger Abstinenz wieder richtig schmackhaft gemacht. Ich wollte mein Hobby reaktivieren und war sehr lange auf der Suche nach der idealen Digital DJ Lösung für mich. Ich komme noch aus der Vinylzeit und die Wahl auf die "richtige" Softwareplattform fiel mir nicht leicht, wenn man sich umschaut was auf dem Markt so los ist. Von Native kommt nichts mehr spannendes in Richtung Hardware, und sie fangen wie Rekordbox und Serato mittlerweile auch an immer mehr in Richtung Abomodell zu pushen und dabei ihre Produkte immer schlechter werden zu lassen (Sofern denn mal was verfügbar ist). Der Numark in Verbindung mit Engine DJ, welches ich zuvor überhaupt nicht wahrgenommen habe, macht dabei alles richtig was ich an der Konkurrenz in Sachen Featureumfang und Produktpolitik zu bemängeln habe. Inmusic scheint mit den Marken Akai, Denon DJ und Numark ihre komplette Entwicklungsabteilung auf Vollgas zu fahren. Engine DJ ist auf allen Hardwareplattformen ein exzellentes Stück Software, das auch noch komplett frei von Bullshit & Abozwang ist. Neue Features kommen mit fast jedem Update ganz beiläufig hinzu und werten die tolle Hardware immer wieder durch Produkpflege auf. Einzig ein paar wenige TouchFX Effekte des großen Denon DJ SC6000M Prime könnte ich auf dem kleinen Mixstream Pro Go noch vermissen, wenn ich denn auf höchstem Niveau meckern wollte. Die Hardware des Mixstream Pro Go ist wirklich gut verarbeitet. Auf den ersten Blick ist das zwar alles viel Plastik, aber von der robusten Sort und dafür sparsam im Gewicht. Sogar die Achsen der Potis sind aus Metall. Die Lautsprecher eignen sich für Ärger mit der Nachbarschaft, auch wenn sie im Bassbereich physikalisch bedingt jetzt nicht gleich ein Party vom Hocker reißen. Fürs Üben zu Hause oder eine spontane Lagerfeuersession mit Freunden reicht das allemal. Mit XLR Ausgängen kann man sich bei Bedarf immer noch an eine PA anklemmen. Ich könnte noch Seitenweise so weiterschreiben, aber kurzum: Hardware Top, Formfaktor Top, Software Top, Produktpflege Top, #NoBullshit, nixzumeckern, Preis Top und für das Gebotene eigentlich zu billig. Für mich ist das Teil ein absoluter Keeper!
