The third generation of the Pioneer XDJ-RX series combines the best features of all Pioneer DJ equipment into a compromisingly good All-in-One Controller, offering a range of professional features that provide you with full flexibility in your DJ routine.
The Pioneer XDJ-RX3, like its popular predecessor, still works Standalone, allowing you to take it to your next gig or studio session without a computer or additional software. For those who prefer or also work with software, you'll be pleased that the new RX3 works seamlessly with both rekordbox dj and Serato DJ Pro.
The new Pioneer controller features a powerful 10.1-inch WXGA Touch Display that clearly and comprehensively shows all information, waveforms, and features. The layout and features were inspired by the DJM-900NXS2 mixer and Pioneer’s new flagship media player, the CDJ-3000. With the RX3, you can expect technology from professional, club-standard flagships.
Pioneer has also made significant improvements to the effects section, equipping the controller with a total of 14 Beat FX and 6 Sound Color FX. This allows you to elevate your mixes or create new, exciting soundscapes—everything is possible with the XDJ-RX3.
Under the hood, there are also notable advancements—you can control Beat FX via touchscreen, preview your tracks with a tap, or exit complex effect combinations with Release FX.

Large 10.1-inch HD Multi-Touchscreen
The extra-large 10.1-inch screen offers higher resolution and refresh rate than its predecessor, the XDJ-RX2.
The new user interface and a range of new features make navigation easier for quick browsing and precise mixing.
Touch Preview Feature
By simply touching the waveform in the browse section, you can now preview the track. There's no need to load the track into the deck.
Release FX
Directly from the Pioneer RMX effects series, the Release FX feature has been implemented in the RX3. This allows you to quickly and cleanly exit complex effect chains and return to the original track with Back Spin, Echo, or Vinyl Brake.
Playlist Bank
You can select up to 4 playlists and add them to the new Playlist Bank.
This provides access to all tracks and allows you to quickly select tracks from different genres, etc.
Colored On-Jog Displays
Always keep an eye on the playback position and cover artwork of the track. Compared to the RX2, the jog wheel rotation responsiveness has been improved.
Additionally, "Feeling Adjust" allows you to simulate a heavier feel and perfectly tailor the jog wheel to your own preferences.
Compatible with rekordbox DJ and Serato DJ Pro
In addition to the standalone mode, the RX3 will work with both rekordbox DJ and Serato DJ Pro.
You can analyze your music in advance with rekordbox DJ and retrieve it from USB storage devices via the export mode.
Or use the Link Export or Performance mode and connect your laptop via USB-HID Control.

Great hardware, but the software is outdated
The RX3 was my upgrade and also my switch into the Pioneer world from the Denon SC Live 2. There’s no question that hardware-wise, it’s immediately clear why Pioneer still has the edge here. I adapted to it quickly, and the advantages of the hardware were noticeable right away. However, what is really outdated and performs poorly is the software. Coming from Denon, you suddenly wonder how something like this is even possible. There are hardly any display options, playlists stutter while scrolling, and the representation of the waveforms also lags slightly. What bothers me the most is the quality of the master tempo, meaning the automatic pitch adjustment during tempo changes. It sounds really bad on the RX3; it produces clearly audible artifacts in most tracks, something I never experienced with Denon. I’m truly surprised that Denon manages to do this better with devices that are half the price. I’m really disappointed.

Tolles Gerät
Nach jahrelanger Nutzung habe ich endlich den Umstieg vom DDJ-400 zum XDJ-RX3 gewagt. Ausschlaggebend war ein Set bei einem Kollegen, der den RX3 schon besitzt. Ein tolles Stand Alone Gerät und es ist jeden Cent wert. Die Lieferung lief auch tadellos mit DHL. Ich bin super zufrieden und freue mich auf unzählige Sets mit dem RX3.
