Product information "Hercules DJ Control Inpulse T7"
Perfect for DJs of all directions and styles, the Hercules DJ Control Inpulse T7 - 2-deck controller masterfully blends classic and contemporary aesthetics and performance designs to make this controller instantly accessible and uncompromising in virtually any application. Of particular note is the use of real vinyl and matching slipmats, which provide a comfortable feel and performance familiar from classic turntables.
The controller features authentic felt slipmats and two replica 7-inch records. This gives you the feel of old-school performance with all the benefits of modern technology. Plus, the 3.9-inch tempo faders are the exact same size as the vinyl turntables used by DJs around the world.
Each deck has its own VU meter for reliable real-time feedback and a master output meter that lets you shape and mold your mix with each deck's 3-band EQ, gain control, and multimode filter. Both headphone outputs have their own volume controls, allowing you to switch headphone playback for both channels and the master output with one click.
Looping controls are available on each deck, complete with autoloop functions and clearly labeled management points. Assignable hot cue buttons make it easy to work with complex show tools, while eight performance modes are activated via the glowing RGB-backlit performance pads, adding plenty of variety and flavor to your set. The FX rack features three buttons for each deck, accompanied by robust paddles for instant or continuous application of effects, with additional depth and tempo controls easily accessible.
The DJControl Inpulse T7 includes a license for DJUCED and Serato DJ Lite.

Great affordable vinyl Dj Controller
As an old-school DJ, I was waiting for some portable DJ controller that gave me a close feeling to my usual turntables + mixer + DVS set and this controller has everything I need. Pros: - The vinyl disc is just a real 7" vinyl so you can use whatever 7" vinyl disc with this controller. - The scratch works great and after some tests, I can't notice any drift at all. - The FX levers work great and they're quite similar to what you get on a Rane Seventy Series mixer. - The pitch sliders have full real size. - The distribution of fx buttons, faders, pads, etc...is quite intuitive and is what you may see on a top-range controller. - This is the closest you can get to a Rane One for an affordable price and half the weight (5kg). Cons: - The backspin is very short due to the slipmats. I saw that Hercules is selling some new pair that may solve this issue. - The faders are weak but, again, I saw Hercules is selling a premium fader upgrade so if you are really into scratch you should go for it. - Instant start is only available on Djuced official software for now. On Serato Dj Lite you are going to notice a delay when you press the start button like a real turntable but you can use the cue button and press the play one and it works perfectly. - The plates are belt-drive but don't panic, I've tried 12" belt-drive and they suck but this 7" belt-drive plate gets the work done just fine. - If you are a more experienced DJ and you are used to using Serato Dj Pro you are going to need to pay a subscription to get the beat jump, midi mapping, and some other pro features. I'm very happy with this purchase and overall I think this is a wonderful controller so either if you want to learn the basics of vinyl mixing or you are an experienced vinyl DJ who wants to get the taste of the old-school on a portable controller this is quite a great choice.
