Boss is a manufacturer of effect pedals for electric guitar and bass. It is a division of Roland Corporation, a Japanese manufacturer of musical instruments and accessories. Boss has been making a wide range of products for guitar effects processing for many years, including compact and twin effects, multi-effect pedals, electronic tuners and pedal boards.
More recently, Boss has expanded its range to include digital studios, drum machines and other electronic music devices.
