What your mixing console case must be able to do
When you think about what your mixer case must be able to withstand, you quickly realise which questions you should ask yourself before buying. A good DJ mixer case should fulfil the following factors:
Absolute functionality
What exactly do you need?
No question: Your mixer case must fit your equipment, for example, as a genuine Pioneer case or also for equipment of other high-ranking brands. Your club mixer has a lot of outputs, and you want to be able to reach all of them easily during your performance. So consider whether your mixer case needs a removable front, a retractable laptop holder or a surface for the mouse. But even if the gig turns out differently than expected, you can improvise thanks to the quickly removable and mountable parts of your mixer case.

We also have turntable cases and CD player cases. Browse through our range and you'll find exactly what you're looking for.
The right size
It has to fit
Sounds trivial - but how quickly do you misjudge the size and your mixer doesn't fit tightly in its case during transport? The worst case scenario is that you damage your mixer so badly with the wrong mixer flight case that the gig has to be cancelled. So choose a case with the right dimensions and get the right foam pads to go with it.
Mixer cases: so much choice
In our online shop, you will find the right model for your mixer between 10 and 19 inches, which is compatible with the most popular mixers of many top brands such as Pioneer, Vestax, Allen & Heath, Behringer, Numark, Denon, Reloop, Gemini, Rane or Ecler.
Good materials and best workmanship
Your case must be able to do a lot!
Your mixing console case transports your musical heart to the gig and is a real working tool. Therefore, it has to be absolutely robust, with high-quality workmanship and at the same time smooth-running for all functions. Or can you imagine anything worse than a stuck lid when you need to move quickly between two songs?
Is a plastic mixer case sufficient?
Even if plastic mixer cases weigh noticeably less, those made of wood and metal are more robust. They not only withstand shocks and pressure from outside. They also protect your sensitive equipment much better when exposed to heat. Finally, they are more durable, so the investment is more worthwhile.
Wood vs. metal
Once again, there are differences between the lighter laminated plywood and the extremely robust, but heavier, multi-layer glued wood, also laminated. The frame of your DJ mixer case is made of metal, e.g. aluminium. The filler panels are either made of wood or metal, whereby wood is more stable. Black and silver are the classic colours.
To round things off: reliable interior padding
The interior is pre-padded with foam exactly for your model. Optionally, you can also use foam cubes. We offer many Zomo cases that combine best functionality with high quality workmanship at a great price-performance ratio.
The ideal equipment
You have chosen your mixing console carefully according to its functions and possibilities. The case must complement this to form your ideal DJ set-up right away.
Lid, locks and handles
Is a removable lid enough for you or do you need more parts that can be removed quickly? This leads to the question: Which latches are the best? You can choose between flap and butterfly latches. Most of them can be secured with a padlock. For transport, it is important whether it should be a handy strap handle or a robust metal handle that can bear a lot of weight.
Feet and corners
If you usually make music "out of the case", rubber feet are indispensable to prevent your mixer case from slipping. Steel ball corners are the ideal reinforcement for the metal frame and offer additional protection against damage from impacts.
Also important: the colour of your mixer case
Since you are in the limelight with your mixer case, it is also perfectly legitimate to make an aesthetic decision as well as a pragmatic one: What colour should your mixer case be? Full black or full metallic? Coloured laminated wood with a silver metal frame? Even something more unusual like red, blue or lilac is possible.
