Product description Numark PT01 Scratch

A portable turntable that makes you independent and allows you to execute scratch techniques precisely wherever you are. The combination of an integrated speaker, a flexibly adjustable scratch switch, and a robust housing creates a reliable foundation for spontaneous practice and creative sessions – whether at home, outdoors, or on the go.

Flexible Scratch Switch

The adjustable scratch switch gives you particularly intuitive control over your movements. Since it can be adjusted for right- or left-handed use, you’ll quickly find the position that suits you best. Even in tilted positions, such as on your knees, the switch responds reliably and ensures that you can perform precise cuts at any time.

Mobility Without Compromise

The lockable housing with integrated handle protects the device while traveling and makes transport significantly easier for you. Supported by battery power, you’re not tied to any location and can start immediately. The integrated speakers deliver direct acoustic feedback, while the non-slip needle system ensures a clear sound – even when you’re not working on a flat surface.

Digital Possibilities

Using the USB output, you can digitize your vinyl without detours. This allows you to easily create digital backups or new working bases for your sessions. Additionally, headphone outputs in two formats are available, so you can practice even when things need to stay quiet.

Sound and Control

The integrated 2-band EQ and ±10% pitch control give you additional control over your sound. With three selectable speeds, the device remains flexible for a wide variety of records and applications. Via RCA outputs, you can connect the player to additional equipment if needed, expanding your setup possibilities.

Handy!

Toller mobiler Plattenspieler mit guter Sound-Qualität. Der Speaker ist ein bisschen schwach für das Picknick im Park. Dafür halten die Batterien lange.

Korg handytraxx play

Listening to a vinyl record on the go is one thing. Pushing it with your hand, cutting out a break, or letting a beat run while the next record is ready is quite another. The Korg handytraxx play brings this direct way of working into a format that fits on the patio, in the rehearsal room, or at the table with friends. Not just playing vinyl The portable turntable features a belt drive, digital rotation correction, and a DC servo motor. It plays 33-1/3, 45, and 78 rpm and includes variable speed control. This makes it suitable for singles, LPs, and 78s, as well as for simple tempo adjustments while DJing. A stereo ceramic system is included; the headshell also supports MM cartridges. This is practical if you want to adapt the sound or tracking to your style of working. However, basic soldering skills are required to switch to an MM system. Fader, tonearm, and control panel for manual work Scratching requires short distances and steady needle movement. The digital crossfader processes the signal internally with 32-bit float; the specially developed tonearm and mechanism are designed to minimize needle skipping when moving the record. The control panel can be rotated 180 degrees, allowing the layout to suit both right-handed and left-handed users. The scratch fader is also swappable. This ensures the setup isn't fixed to a single hand position, but can follow your own grip and preferred fader side. Effects and loops directly on the turntable Three filter types and a delay expand the signal without needing to connect a separate effects unit. The filter toggles between a DJ filter, EQ filter with bass isolator, and a modulatable wah filter. The delay can be adjusted via the vertical fader and ranges from 10 to 1,000 ms. The integrated looper records up to approximately 20 seconds in stereo. This allows you to capture a beat or a sound from the playing record, scratch over it, or cue up the next record while the loop continues to run. Especially for small portablism sets, this turns the player into more than just a playback device. Standalone listening and versatile connectivity The built-in 2.5 W speaker makes the handytraxx play immediately usable without an external unit. It runs for approximately 11 hours on six AA batteries under the specified conditions; alternatively, the included power adapter provides power. The dust cover and compact design assist with transport between different locations. For a larger setup, Aux-In, Line-Out, and Phono-Out are available. You can use these to feed in an external source, connect the player to active speakers or an amplifier, and use the appropriate output depending on the input. The Aux-In accepts a maximum of 2.5 Vp, and the Line-Out delivers a maximum of 2.3 Vp. Who is the Korg handytraxx play for? This turntable is suitable for DJs and vinyl enthusiasts who want not just to play records on the go, but to work with them. It is particularly well-suited for compact scratch sets, informal sessions, and creative transitions where the looper, filter, and delay need to be immediately accessible. It also holds its own as a standalone secondary player: the built-in speaker, battery operation, and connectivity options reduce extra effort. With the Korg handytraxx play, you get a mobile turntable whose controls and functions are designed for active interaction with the record. Korg handytraxx tube

Vinyl does not have to stay by the HiFi system. If you want to play records in the living room, on the balcony, or in the rehearsal room, a mobile player needs more than just a compact housing. The Korg handytraxx tube combines a fully adjustable belt drive with speakers, battery operation, and a Nutube circuit for purposefully shapeable sound coloration. Tube circuit with independent control The integrated Nutube technology works with a separate Tube Gain control. This allows you to adjust the additional harmonic coloration yourself, rather than just switching it on or off. Bass and treble can also be adjusted, so you can adapt the playback to the room, volume, and recording. For direct listening without additional equipment, the portable record player features two integrated 2.5 W speakers. A headphone jack is available if you want to listen privately. You can use the built-in phono preamp to route the signal to either a phono or line input. Tone arm and tracking system sensibly designed The aluminium platter, the DC servo motor, and the software-supported rotation control form the mechanical base. The belt drive plays 33 1/3, 45, and 78 rpm. This means you can play shellac records in addition to LPs and singles, provided you use the appropriate needle. The balanced tone arm features a replaceable headshell, equipped with the JICO J44A 7 MM cartridge system. The tracking force is adjustable between 1.5 and 3.0 g. This is important for a mobile record player because you can cleanly adapt the tracking to the cartridge being used. Save vinyl digitally and connect flexibly The USB audio output transmits via PCM at 44.1 or 48 kHz and 16-bit to a computer. This allows you to digitise your records or integrate the player into a simple recording chain. The analogue phono and line outputs keep the connection to classic amplifiers and active speakers open. Six AA batteries power the device while on the go

Thoughtfully engineered and designed for maximum sound purity, it provides the basis for a listening experience that is consistently oriented toward audiophile standards. True Balanced Signal Routing The balanced signal transmission of the Pick it PRO Balanced system is one of the most important features of this model. It reduces interference and enables clearer, disturbance-free playback, offering audible advantages especially with high-quality systems. With a suitable balanced phono cable, you can fully exploit this potential and benefit from particularly clean and stable transmission. Carbon Tonearm with Precise Adjustment The one-piece carbon tonearm ensures stable needle guidance and supports a precise tracking of your records. Thanks to adjustable VTA and azimuth, you can fine-tune the system so you can perfectly adapt the sound characteristics to your collection. The construction minimizes resonances and contributes to an unaltered reproduction of fine details. Smooth Operation through Optimized Drive The precise belt drive with electronic motor control ensures a constant rotational speed, forming the foundation for clean playback. High-Quality Chassis and Elegant Design The eight-layer lacquered MDF chassis provides a stable base while adding a stylish accent to your living space. The height-adjustable aluminum feet make exact alignment easier, which in turn positively affects smooth operation and detail reproduction. Korg handytraxx 1bit

Vinyl does not have to stay in a fixed place. If you enjoy listening to records in the living room, want to secure samples from old singles, or wish to digitise a collection without a complex setup, you need a turntable that combines playback and recording. The Korg handytraxx 1bit combines a mobile belt drive with a USB audio interface and a factory-mounted MM cartridge for this purpose. Listen to vinyl without setting up a full system Two integrated speakers, each with 2.5 W RMS, make the turntable ready to play straight away. For quiet listening, a 3.5 mm headphone output is available. Via the RCA jacks, the signal can be passed on to active speakers, amplifiers, or a phono input, choosing between LINE or PHONO mode. The belt drive operates with computer-aided rotation compensation and supports 33 1/3, 45, and 78 rpm. This allows the device to play LPs, singles, and suitable shellac records. For 78s, the cartridge or stylus used must be appropriate for the wider groove. Tonearm, cartridge, and sound control A die-cast aluminium platter and the straight tonearm form the mechanical foundation. The counterweight can be adjusted for 1.5 to 4 g tracking force. Korg supplies the handytraxx 1bit with a pre-mounted JICO J44 A7 stereo MM cartridge, so no separate cartridge installation is required after setup. The two-band phono EQ with Nutube circuit offers bass and treble control. If you wish to use an external phono preamplifier or your own sound processing, you can bypass the internal equaliser. This creates flexibility for a home system without sacrificing the ease of use on the go. Save records directly as files Via USB-B, the turntable works as an audio interface on your computer. For recording, PCM up to 192 kHz at 24 Bit as well as DSD at 2.8 or 5.6 MHz are available. AudioGate 4 is included as a download and supports the process of transferring records into a digital archive. This is practical for rare pressings, mix templates, or a collection that you want to be available even without a turntable. The recording quality still depends on the condition of the record, the stylus, the setup, and a suitably chosen level. Usable on the move, connectable at home An external power supply is included; for mobile use, the device takes six AA batteries. The specified battery life is approximately 11 hours. A turntable that focuses on consistent further development and already shows on first use how carefully every detail has been tuned. The design combines a stable foundation with sound-oriented improvements, so you can enjoy your records with impressive purity. Stable construction with clear sound focus The low-resonance chassis forms the basis for the precise operation of the entire system. Made from CNC-machined material and available in three elegant finishes, the player stands stable and minimizes interference right from the base. The new glass platter is significantly more massive and, thanks to its higher weight, reduces unwanted vibrations, making playback calmer and more defined. In addition, specially developed feet provide effective decoupling from the surface and support a clean, uncolored sound image. Even drive for clean playback The electronically controlled motor ensures a constant speed, so your records run reliably and precisely at 33 or 45 RPM. The belt drive works together with an accurately manufactured sub-platter that rests on a hardened steel axle. This interaction ensures smooth operation and precise reproduction of the music – a decisive advantage for detailed recordings. Precise tracking through optimized tonearm The 9-inch aluminum tonearm is designed for stability and low friction. Its low-friction bearings support the exact tracking of the stylus in every groove. The pre-mounted Sumiko Rainier MM cartridge complements this concept perfectly and delivers a balanced, highly resolving sound. The spring-based anti-skating system ensures that the stylus is guided evenly and that distortions do not occur in the first place. Clean signal transmission and practical equipment A semi-symmetrical phono cable ensures an interference-free connection and enables clear and loss-free signal transmission. A dust cover with adjustable hinges protects the device in everyday use without restricting usability. Overall, a high-quality, durable package is created, manufactured in Europe and focused on careful craftsmanship. korg handytraxx tube j top view
Korg handytraxx tube J

Playing a record on the go often fails not because of a lack of space, but due to the question of how much of your familiar control remains. The Korg handytraxx tube J combines a portable belt-drive turntable with adjustable tube character, interchangeable headshell, and connections for headphones, a sound system, or USB audio. Tube character to your taste A Nutube vacuum tube with adjustable gain operates within the signal path. Using the TUBE knob, you can adjust the level from 0 to 6 dB, tailoring the sound character to the specific record and your listening preferences. The separate bass and treble controls complement this adjustment without the need for an external mixer. The integrated phono preamplifier features RIAA equalisation. This allows you to route the signal through the phono or line output into a suitable setup. For direct listening, two built-in speakers and a headphone output are available. Mechanics for 33, 45 and 78 RPM The die-cast aluminium platter is moved by a belt drive with a DC servo motor. A CPU monitors the rotational speed at 33 1/3, 45 and 78 RPM, ensuring that different record formats run at the intended speed. A JICO Clipper cartridge is mounted; the CRCP/MK1 stylus is compatible. The headshell is swappable, and the counterweight is adjustable. This ensures the mobile turntable remains adaptable even if you wish to use a different compatible system. Listen to vinyl and output digitally Via USB, the device outputs a two-channel audio signal at 44.1 or 48 kHz at 16-bit. This is practical if you want to record your records using suitable software or send the signal to a computer. The USB 2.0 audio interface complements the analogue outputs but does not replace them. For mobile operation, the handytraxx tube J uses six AA batteries; at home, it is powered by the included power adapter. Weighing 2.8 kg and featuring a dust cover, the turntable can easily be taken from one listening spot to the next. Is the Korg handytraxx tube J the right one for you? This turntable is suitable for vinyl listeners who do not see a compact player merely as a secondary solution, but who also want to influence the sound and cartridge. The combination of speakers, headphone jack, and analogue outputs works on your desk, in the living room, or on the go. USB audio and three speeds give you additional scope for digitisation and various record formats.
