The assembly with the mini-screw is really hair-raising. In the end, however, the system sits and makes a decent sound for the price.

Worth it!

This pickup is great fun and worth every penny! Not for audiophiles ;-)

I listen to a lot of hip-hop, some soul and funk, very little rock & pop and have to say that the Audio Technica AT 3600 is perfect for my music genres. There is already a decent bass foundation, maybe a slight bass boost, the voices sound very pleasant, the highs are not shrill or get annoying over time. You can relax and listen to music for hours. Overall a round system. I have set the tracking power to 3G, in my opinion the system harmonizes best. The Audio Technica AT 91 is supposed to be identical in construction, I've already had it, although it was not bad, I feel the AT 3600 is "bassy" better resolved, but there was no difference like day and night, there was no WoW effect. In various forums people hear the grass growing, I probably don't belong to them ;-) The most fun was this inconspicuous system. Just give it a try and try it out, sometimes some headshells cost more than this system, with the low price you don't take any great risks.
