Precise monitoring starts with a loudspeaker that reproduces signals honestly. Yamaha HS8 is an active 2-way bass reflex nearfield monitor designed for clear, balanced playback and reveals details in the mix you can rely on. The 8-inch woofer works together with a 1-inch dome tweeter in a cleanly tuned Bi-Amp system. This creates a sound image that reaches deep down, stays differentiated in the mids and sounds controlled even in the high frequencies. The distinctive design with the white cone is also part of the series—it's been closely associated with it for years.
Clarity without colouring
This studio monitor is made to reproduce material as it actually is. Newly developed transducers ensure balanced signal reproduction across a wide frequency range. This helps you when mixing, producing and judging recordings, because vocals, transients and low-end content are not artificially emphasised, but presented in a way you can understand.
Especially during long sessions, this direct tuning is an advantage. You hear faster where an arrangement works, where frequencies overlap and at what point an adjustment in the mix is really needed.
Bi-Amp with clean separation
Inside, a 75W LF- plus 45W HF Bi-Amp system is at work, with the high and low drivers each powered by their own power amplifier. This design improves control over the individual frequency ranges and contributes to a linear, high-resolution sound image. For you, that means better overview of level relationships, dynamics and the stereo image.
The crossover frequency of 2 kHz is tuned so that both drivers work together cleanly. The result is a closed sound image that does not try to be spectacular, but instead remains reliable.
Enclosure with a focus on quiet
Here, Yamaha relies on an MDF enclosure with good damping properties to keep unwanted resonances as low as possible. That's exactly crucial in the studio, because colourations caused by the enclosure make any assessment harder. The bass reflex port has also been specifically optimised to reduce air turbulence at the openings and minimise disturbing side noise in the bass range.
Adaptable to your room
Not every workstation sounds the same. That's why this model with ROOM CONTROL and HIGH TRIM offers two practical options for adjusting the sound. Fantastische Boxen zu unschlagbarem Preis!
Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis der Yamaha-Lautsprecher ist grundsätzlich schon erstaunlich gut. Welche anderen derart leistungsstarken Lautsprecher können da, insbesondere vor dem Hintergrund des allgemein üblichen Marktpreises, tatsächlich mithalten?
Mit rund 500.- € Verkaufspreis für zwei HS8-Boxen hat „recordcase.de“ wahrhaft eine Offerte an den Tag gelegt, der schlicht nicht zu widerstehen war. Klasse Lautsprecher - toller Preis.

Die Monitore von Yahmaha sind ehrlich, genau das was man braucht,um einen guten Mix zu machen ich würde Sie wieder kaufen habe es nicht berreut
Enceinte d occasion ?
Les enceintes sont parfaites, aigus et basses très bien... Livraison OK... Par contre, quand je les ais receptionner, je me suis aperçu que l'une des deux à déjà servie (occasion). On vois que le crarton à déjà été ouvert et l enceinte est rayée... J'ai envoyer un mail à recordcase et j'attends leur retour... Affaire à suivre
Preis / Leistung ist nicht zu toppen
Hier wurde im Grunde bereits alles gesagt. Wer 1A Studio-Monitore zu einem fairen Preis sucht, wird mit den Yamaha HS8 nichts falsch machen. Hoch auflösend und tief genug (für mich) schaffen sie locker das Gänsehaut-Feeling vernünftiger Musik zu erzeugen. Ich bin begeistert, vom Produkt und vom Shop!
