Akai MPD 218

If you're looking for an affordable yet powerful USB pad controller, you'll find it at Akai: The MPD218 is equipped with 16 Thick MPC pads that provide a distinctive, authentic feel.

These can also be distributed over 3 banks. Switching between the banks is possible without any problems. This results in a total of 48 assignable and playable pads.

The same goes for the six assignable pots that let you control 18 parameters like volume, pan, filter cutoff and more. Producers and live drummers will be pleased with the MPC Note Repeat and Full Level functions.

Users of iOS devices can also operate the MPD 218 on Apple devices through the optional Camera Connection Kit, where they can control their producer tools.
