had to replace my current set as something failed in the power system an pioneers only repair service was charging 90 quid for repairs ' so i decided to buy the set again but slightly different got the white set this time round ' cant wait to spin some tunes when the ddj arrives ' top service an excellest speedy delivery ...top marks

Decent speakers

I like them but I think I was expecting a little more. I don't know why. The Base is excellent. I've only had them a few days and need to play a bit but saying that, they are OK for my medium sized double room. If my room was bigger I would need a bit more.

Good speakers for DJing

This is probably the best active monitor speaker for the price. They are great for DJing at home and home DJs. For production, you should choose something else, because, as has already been said here, they drown out the bass and midrange.

Finally, the sound on our flat screen TV is easy to hear and understand. The built-in things on the TV are horrible, the sound of the DM-40 flawless, even if we old people (69/68) a little too bassy. But that can be regulated down on the TV. I can only recommend the speakers to anyone who suffers from poor built-in speakers. Especially since the price (110 €) is cheap.

Top active speakers.

Super beautiful active studio monitors "DM-40" in white from Pioneer. Use the two speakers together with the Pioneer record player "PLX-500" and am more than happy about both. See also my review of the turntable. As I said, both articles and the shop "RECORDCASE.DE" can more than recommend. Price / performance absolutely top, because the heart of an old vinyl lover opens his heart!

Pioneer Boxes

Decent sound for the small budget. I use it for djing. I would not recommend them for mixing and mastering, because they overemphasize the bass and midrange. Unfortunately, they don't have their own "off switch" either. In principle, that doesn't matter because the electronics regulate it. After a few minutes without a signal, the boxes automatically switch off. Otherwise decent boxes for mixes and normal playback at a fair price.
