Roland SPD-SX PRO

Building on the success of its predecessors, Roland's SPD-SX Pro Sampling Pad is a master at merging live and electronic percussion performance.

Nine responsive, highly sensitive drum pads are equipped with customizable LEDs and invite instant play. Compared to the previous model, the SPD-SX Pro has increased the sensitivity of the three shoulder pads to minimize accidental crosstalk.

Over 1,500 preloaded samples and 200 kit patches await discovery on the large 4.3-inch color display. The optimized user interface and the numerous inputs and outputs make it easy to integrate the SPD-SX Pro into any setup.

Of course, you can also import your own samples or record them directly. Real-time recordings can be saved as WAV files and instantly assigned for spontaneous improvisation. The internal 32 GB memory is perfect for all your own samples and sounds and can automatically convert incoming audio data to 48 kHz/16-bit.

Extensive effects and sidechain options expand the sonic possibilities, and the 16-step sequencer offers a variety of ways to layer and differentiate your performance.

A dedicated SPD-SX Pro app can be used for detailed editing and modification of onboard, custom or Roland Cloud samples. The USB port can be used to send 8-channel audio and MIDI data to the DAW of choice, so studio use is no problem.
