Alesis SamplePad 4

The Alesis SamplePad 4 is the compact percussion instrument you've been looking for - whether you're an acoustic drummer looking to add electronic percussion to your kit, or a songwriter looking for a realistic way to write drum parts.

It doesn't matter if you play with sticks, mallets or your hands and fingers: The SamplePad 4 offers a total of 4 pads, two of them very large and two smaller upper pads, to be able to record realistic drum parts.

Thanks to the USB interface, the SamplePad4 can also be used as a midi controller. This also allows you to control plug-ins in your DAW to record real sounding drum parts.

To get you started right away, Alesis has loaded the SamplePad 4 with 25 of the most requested drum and percussion samples. These sounds are compiled into 10 preset kits.

In addition, it is very easy to add your own samples to the SamplePad 4. Simply connect SamplePad 4 to a Mac or Windows PC via USB, insert an SD/SDHC card with up to 32 GB capacity and you can load up to 512 samples into up to 89 user drum kits.

For the final touch, you can even tune and reverb the sounds with SamplePad 4.
