Korg Volca FM 2

Like its predecessor, the new Volca was designed to perfectly emulate the FM sound made popular by the legendary Yamaha DX7. The Volca returns with its built-in 16-step sequencer, which has a Motion Sequence function for recording knob turns and note data.

Warp Active Step, Pattern Chain and the Arpeggiator are also back. In addition to the Chorus effect of the previous model, a Reverb effect is on board.

Korg's new Volca FM offers six voices that work with the original six operators, creating even more potential for the studio or stage. Onboard memory holds 32 of your favorite sounds on demand. Plus, Korg includes a Parameter List Guide that makes programming simple and intuitive.

New MIDI and programming options offer the opportunity to use the legendary DX7 sound in new and compelling ways. In addition to the new MIDI output, the Volca also offers velocity sensitivity via MIDI for greater control over the 6-voice engine.

Thanks to the built-in speaker and battery option, the new Volca FM2 is also just as portable as its predecessor. To get you started right away, Korg includes a software package with the Volca, including Ozone Elements from Izotope, Reason Lite and more.
