Here, AlphaTheta combines digital precision with the character of classic analogue mixing consoles. High-quality 32-bit A/D and D/A converters, along with 96 kHz/64-bit processing, ensure clean, detailed playback. The basses feel more solid, the midrange comes through more clearly, and the highs remain pleasantly finely resolved.
Especially with long transitions and tracks that differ stylistically, the device shows its strengths. Instead of sitting hard next to each other, individual tracks sound more homogeneous and musically cohesive. This makes the sound not only more pleasant, but also supports you in building a smooth, connected set.
The custom-designed rotary controls are among the most noticeable features of this mixer. Their elastomer surface provides secure grip and absorbs vibrations noticeably better than conventional knobs. On board are five send effects and a high-pass filter, complemented by send and return paths for external devices. Of particular interest is Boost Send. With this, you apply internal or external effects directly to a specific frequency band of the master isolator. So you control effects very intuitively with one hand while you can continue mixing. This link between isolator and effects processing creates noticeably more scope during performance.
Along with the sound, visual control also convinces. Each channel has its own display, allowing you to pick up levels more quickly than with a simple sum meter. This is complemented by the Energy Visualizer and a Spectrum Analyzer for the master sum. This way, you can tell not only loudness levels, but also the tonal balance of your set much more clearly.

Ein tolles Mischpult, was meine Erwartungen übertroffen hat!
Lange gehadert und dann doch gekauft. Nach meinen Dynacord-Mixern (SM 7080 und M2) war ich klanglich verwöhnt. Doch es musste was Neues her, nach 25 Jahren. Klanglich sollte es ausgewogen und eher warmen Sound liefern. Also nach langem Studium auf YouTube und entsprechenden Foren für das doch recht hochpreisige Euphonia entschieden.
Und es war für mich die beste Entscheidung: astreiner Klang (mit meinen Denon Monoblöcken und JBL 4425), der die alten Vinyls neu aufleben lässt. Aber auch CD‘s klingen irgendwie analoger. Ich bin total begeistert. Die Verarbeitung ist, dem Preis angemessen, sehr gut. Alles läuft einwandfrei, kein Wackeln, sehr wertiger Eindruck. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung, wenn man denn eher analog unterwegs ist und bereit ist, soviel Geld in einen Mixer zu investieren . . .

Dieser Rotary Mixer ist derzeit einzigartig auf den Markt. In einiger Hinsicht vergleichbar mit dem Rane MP2015, der nicht mehr vertrieben wird. Ein hybrider Mixer mit den Vorteilen eines digitaler Mixers und dem Sound und Feeling eines analogen Rotary Mixers. Absolut hochwertig gebaut mit einem warmen High-End Klang. Der hervorragende Sound und der minimalistische Aufbau waren die Gründe für meine Kaufentscheidung. Der Mixer ist an meine HiFi-Anlage angeschlossen und wird von zwei SL-1210er bespielt. Der Klang-Visualisierer ist genial und die Master-Isolater in Verbindung mit der FX Sektion machen einfach Spaß. Der Preis ist hoch, aber nicht weit weg von einem vergleichbaren analogen Rotary Mixer. Der Mehrpreis ist begründet durch einen sehr hochwertigen D/A und A/D Wandler und der Sound-Veredlung von Ruppert Neve sowie einen innovativen FX Unit mit Boost Send.
