New Pioneer DJ Headphones - The HDJ-X Series
New from September - The Pioneer HDJ-X Series
Pioneer introduces a new HDJ-X DJ headphone series. The flagship model is called HDJ-X10. It focuses on professional club and festival DJs, offering high wearing comfort, not fainting even under the toughest live conditions, and according to the manufacturer reproducing frequencies that other DJ headphones cannot transmit.
This aims to provide the wearer with an even deeper connection to music and the dance floor. All models are equipped with swiveling ear cups and meet the highest standards, such as the "MIL-STD-810G Shock Test" (US military standard).
Pioneer HDJ-X10
Inside the HDJ-X10 are 50-millimeter HD drivers that reproduce high-resolution audio signals in the frequency range of 5 - 40,000 Hz. When paired with a TOUR1 or DJM/CDJ-900 NXS2 setup, DJs can enjoy high-definition audio playback at 96 kHz and 24 bits with "excellent clarity and gradation".
Additionally, Pioneer's new headphones are said to be waterproof, and the ear pads and headband are nano-coated for dirt and dust removal.
Pioneer HDJ-X7
The HDJ-X7 is an evolution of the previous flagship HDJ-2000MK2. It is not water-resistant, but it also comes with newly developed 50-millimeter drivers, with a frequency range from 5 Hz to 30 kHz.
Like its larger sibling, the X7 has passed the standard shock test of the US military, making it the ideal partner in the rough DJ daily routine.
Pioneer HDJ-X5
The third member of the group is the HDJ-X5. It operates with 40-millimeter drivers and a frequency response of 5 - 30,000 Hz. These headphones score high on level resistance and high-quality audio reproduction.
Package Contents
The HDJ-X10 comes with a 1.2-meter coiled cable, a 1.6-meter straight cable, a 6.3-millimeter adapter, and a carrying bag. The HDJ-X7 and HDJ-X5 - it comes without flat cable - and includes a bag instead of a hard case.
