Product description Heatscope Vision 1600
On covered terraces or in sheltered indoor areas, you want warmth without a bright glow dominating the space. The Heatscope Vision 1600 is a 1,600-watt infrared heater with wide, even heat distribution. Two carbon heating elements and a rear-ventilated reflector system direct the heat towards the area where you spend time.
The carbon elements emit medium-wave infrared heat. The heater reaches full output within approximately 30 to 60 seconds. Visible light output remains low at less than 300 lumens; when in operation, only a subtle orange glow is visible. The stated radiant efficiency is over 90 per cent.
Use the supplied infrared remote control to switch the heater on or off and choose between 50 and 100 per cent heating output. The reduced setting is suitable when less heat is needed; the full setting provides maximum heating output.
The Vision model is intended for indoor use and sheltered outdoor areas. With an IP44 rating, it is suitable for weather-protected installation locations, not exposed areas. An outdoor temperature of at least 10 °C is recommended for use. The installation height should be between 1.8 and 2.5 metres.
The housing is made of coated aluminium and has a ceramic glass front; the double carbon heating elements have a satin finish. The heater is designed for an operating life of more than 10,000 hours and is planned, designed, developed and manufactured in Germany.
Wall and ceiling mounting are possible using the included accessories. Two joints help you position the heater; extensions are also included for ceiling mounting. This makes the Vision 1600 suitable for sheltered seating and living areas where you want 1,600 watts of heating output, low light output and adjustable operation via remote control.

Important questions about the article Heatscope Vision 1600
Question: Is the Heatscope Vision 1600 suitable for an open terrace?
Answer: No, with IP44 the heater is intended for covered or weather-protected areas. It is not the right choice for open, very windy or unprotected spaces.
Question: How quickly is heat available?
Answer: According to the manufacturer, maximum output is reached after around 30 to 60 seconds. This makes the heater suitable where heat should not need a long preheating period.
Question: Can the heating output be adjusted?
Answer: Yes. The supplied infrared remote control provides on/off as well as 50 and 100 percent output.
Question: Is significant light visible during operation?
Answer: No, visible light output is below 300 lumens. The Vision 1600 is therefore intended for areas where the heating effect should take priority without producing bright heater lighting.
Question: Can the heater be mounted on a wall and ceiling?
Answer: Yes. Mounting accessories for wall and ceiling installation are included; the alignment can be adjusted using the supplied joints.
Question: Is a stand included?
Answer: No. The package is designed for wall and ceiling installation; a freestanding solution requires separate, purpose-designed accessories.
Question: What installation height is intended?
Answer: An installation height of 1.8 to 2.5 metres is recommended. The unit measures 810 × 184 × 87 mm and weighs 6 kg, which should be considered when choosing the installation location.
