Product description Heatscope Pure 2400
On a terrace, loggia or in a conservatory, you want the heat to be directed downwards without a bright heating surface dominating the space. The Heatscope Pure 2400 is an infrared heater with a convex SCHOTT-NEXTREMA glass front: behind it are two carbon heating elements that radiate heat across an A-shaped area while emitting very little visible light.
The curved front allows the heating elements to be positioned close to the glass. Together with the reflector system, the heater is designed to deliver heat evenly; full heating power is available after around 20 to 30 seconds. The stated radiant efficiency is over 90 per cent, while visible light output is below 300 lumens.
You can choose between off, 50 and 100 per cent heating power on the unit. The model is maintenance-free and designed for more than 10,000 operating hours. With an IP65 rating, it is suitable for outdoor use in weather-protected areas. The recommended mounting height is 1.8 to 2.5 metres.
The white model has a coated aluminium casing and a white glass front. It is designed to be installed using the included accessories; the heater is developed, designed and manufactured in Germany. It suits terrace and conservatory setups if you’re looking for 2,400 watts of heating power, reduced light output and a compact mounting height.

An infrared heater can be controlled remotely using the HEATSCOPE Smartbox: the unit is installed between the power supply and the heater, and switches it on or off and between 50 and 100 per cent heat output. The version described here operates with the supplied infrared remote control. The control box is designed for manually switchable HEATSCOPE heaters in the PURE, PURE+ and NEXT models. Both switches on the heater must be switched on for remote control operation. The infrared signal also needs a clear line of sight to the Smartbox; if it is obscured by the heater, you may need to operate it from another position. The Auto-Off function automatically switches off the heater after 4, 6 or 8 hours. You can also deactivate the timer. The switch-off function is part of the infrared version; it is not available with the Somfy I/O version. The plastic housing can be mounted horizontally or vertically on or next to the heater. A combination mounting bracket and a wall/ceiling mounting plate for installation with the PURE mounting bracket are provided. With IP65 protection, the Smartbox can be installed without additional weather protection. Where wall or ceiling mounting is not possible, the HEATSCOPE STAND | Pure & Next brings a compatible infrared heater down to floor level. The stand system is designed for patios and gardens and makes the heater easy to position flexibly outdoors. The bracket can be adjusted so that you can set the radiant angle to suit your needs – just as with wall or ceiling mounting. This allows you to direct the heat towards the desired seating area. The stand and compatible PURE and NEXT heaters are designed for outdoor use; the heaters are rated IPX5 against water jets from all directions. The stand itself has an IP65 rating. No additional weather protection is provided for the use described. The construction consists of a galvanised steel base, a powder-coated stainless steel mounting bracket and a powder-coated aluminium connecting pole. The system is available in black or white and weighs 25.5 kg without the heater. Two people are required to move it with the heater mounted. The stand system is compatible with HEATSCOPE PURE and NEXT. It is not suitable for VISION or SPOT heaters or devices from other manufacturers. The heater itself is not included; you need a compatible model to use the stand system. The heater is connected using a Schuko plug and an ILME plug on the heater side. A manually switched HEATSCOPE heater can be integrated into an existing system using the Somfy I/O control. The Heatscope Smartbox somfy is installed between the power supply and the heater and controls compatible devices from the PURE, PURE+ and NEXT model ranges via Somfy I/O. You can switch the heater on and off via the I/O system and switch between 50% and 100% heating output. The Smartbox is designed exclusively for compatible HEATSCOPE models and does not work with heaters from other brands. A HEATSCOPE IR remote control is not included with the Somfy version; control is via an existing Somfy I/O system. The housing has a convex, translucent front. You can mount the Smartbox horizontally or vertically, directly on or next to the heater. A combination mounting bracket and a wall and ceiling mounting plate for installation with the PURE mounting bracket are provided. With an IP65 protection rating, no additional weather protection cover is required according to the product information. The Smartbox is designed for a 220–240 V AC mains connection. Automatic shut-off after 4, 6 or 8 hours is not available with the Somfy I/O version.
