The construction of the CURV 500 PS is designed to provide optimal sound reproduction. It consists of two powerful subwoofers and eight satellite speakers operated on special SmartLink adapters. The satellites are small yet powerful, with each element measuring just 12 x 12 cm. LD Systems engineers have integrated the WaveAhead technology, which ensures extremely detailed and dynamic sound output. This technology combines a 4" and three 1" drivers in each satellite to ensure a complete and coherent sound image.

Special attention has been paid to the quality and versatility of the integrated amplification. The 10-inch bass reflex subwoofer includes Class-D amplification complemented by a variety of protective circuits, including a limiter, as well as protection against short circuits, overheating, and overvoltage. The subwoofer also features a 4-channel mixer with a range of 16 digital effect presets and Bluetooth connectivity. The second subwoofer has its own power amplifier, matching the technical specifications of the first one but without the mixer unit.

The connection options are as versatile as they are well thought out, including combo and speakON-compatible sockets. The subwoofer itself is equipped with four digital system presets, an M20 thread flange, and three ergonomic carrying handles to facilitate mobility and installation.

The CURV 500 PS is suitable not only for mobile use but also for permanent installations. The unibody array elements are made of robust aluminum, which speaks to both the durability and performance of the system.
