Product description Gemini PA SET 3

For a passive stereo PA, you need speakers and a power amplifier that are compatible in terms of power and connections. The complete set with two passive speakers contains two Gemini GSM-3250 speakers, a Gemini XGA-4000 power amplifier and two Omnitronic speaker cables. Each speaker has an impedance of 4 ohms and can be connected to one of the two amplifier channels in stereo mode.

Each GSM-3250 combines two 15-inch woofers with a 4-inch piezo tweeter in a solid wood cabinet. The specified frequency range is 35 Hz to 20 kHz; power handling is 300 W RMS or 1200 W peak. As passive speakers, they require a separate power amplifier – the XGA-4000 fulfils this role in the set.

The power amplifier can operate in stereo or mono bridge mode. In stereo mode, it delivers 2 × 350 W RMS at 4 ohms, matching the speakers’ impedance. The 4000 W IPP rating refers to peak power, not RMS power. Bridge mode has different connection and impedance requirements from those of the included stereo setup.

For signal input, there are balanced XLR and 6.3 mm jack inputs, as well as an unbalanced RCA input. The speaker outputs include three Speakon connections for channel A, channel B and Bridge, as well as 5-way speaker terminals. Signal, Clip, Protect and Bridge indicators make it easier to monitor the system from the front; a limiter, DC output protection and short-circuit protection are also included. A ground lift switch and front-to-back airflow complete the power amplifier’s features.

The set includes two 5 m cables, each with a 2-pole speaker plug and 6.3 mm mono jack. This lets you connect each speaker separately to the power amplifier. The bundle is suitable for mobile or permanently installed stereo PA setups that require two passive full-range speakers, a compatible power amplifier and connecting cables.

With the new Yamaha Stagepas 200, you get a small, compact and completely portable PA sound system that leaves nothing to be desired. The system is powered by a Class-D bi-amp with a maximum output of 180 watts. An 8-inch woofer and a 1.4-inch tweeter provide a maximum sound pressure level of 125 dB. This makes the Stagepas 200 ideal for conferences, entertainers, weddings or other flexible applications. With very compact dimensions of 30 cm on each side and an integrated carry handle, the system is ready for any mobile application. With a column system, the subwoofer and satellite need to be connected quickly and positioned to suit the event. The active Curve Array system Audiophony MOJO2200curve combines a 12-inch bass-reflex subwoofer with a satellite containing a total of twelve speakers. The dispersion is 100° horizontal and 70° vertical; the maximum sound pressure level is 128 dB SPL. The integrated four-channel mixer accepts microphone and line signals, as well as instruments and playback devices. Channels 1 and 2 each have a balanced XLR/jack combo socket with a microphone or line selection. Channel 3 uses a balanced jack socket, while channel 4/5 combines stereo RCA and Bluetooth. The individual channel levels and subwoofer level can be adjusted separately. Music from a smartphone or computer can be sent directly to the system via Bluetooth. With Bluetooth TWS, you can connect two MOJO2200curve systems wirelessly to a Bluetooth source and distribute playback between left and right. TWS works exclusively with a Bluetooth playback source; a second system is required. The 24-bit DSP provides tone controls for treble, midrange and bass, three presets for Music, Voice and DJ, and a switchable low-cut filter at 80, 100, 120 or 150 Hz. You can also select the midrange frequency between 70 Hz and 12 kHz and set a delay from 0 to 100 metres. A display shows the signal level and limiter status; presets can be saved, loaded and deleted. The satellite sits directly on the subwoofer. An integrated connector transfers the audio signal, so no separate speaker cable is needed between the enclosures. The pneumatic pole assists with lifting and allows height adjustment of the satellite. A balanced mix output and two balanced line outputs for channels 1 and 2 are available for connecting additional devices. With its mixer, DSP, Bluetooth and separate outputs, the system is suited to mobile sound reinforcement applications where several sources need to be connected directly or a second system needs to be integrated. The adjustable column and integrated subwoofer connection make setup easier, while the TWS function enables wireless stereo playback with a second MOJO2200curve.
