The headphones introduced me to me the same way. Processing top! The sound is great! But first I have to get used to it .. a few months ago my Sennheiser Momentum broke after 5 years. i mainly use the headphones for mixing and mastering, just for making music. Vocal recordings could be difficult because they are open headphones and a lot penetrates outside and you can hear the playback on the track. But I knew that from the start and I use different headphones for recordings. What deserves more than 5 stars is the service. Ordered 4 days before Christmas and there within 2 days. great praise!

Switching to open is worthwhile

I switched from a closed HyperX headset to the open DT990. Due to the low weight it is super comfortable to wear. Tonally an absolute upgrade for me. The open character in particular is very pleasant for my ears.

You can buy it but not for people who like it a little louder

I don't like this headphone so much, it has no power even if I connect it to a headphone amplifier it gets louder but it starts to buzz as if the membrane were defective.

Different but good

Switch from Sennheiser 350 to DT990 Pro. The sound is different and the bass takes getting used to. Carry Good Cable is a bit annoying due to the spiral shape. Quality is good. P / L very good. 4/5 stars

After a long search for a good but not too expensive headphone that is mainly used for monitor purposes, I found it at Beyerdynamic. It is still comfortable to wear after a long period of use and has a very neutral, balanced sound. There is nothing to complain about in terms of workmanship.

Great headphones! Much better than expected and worth every penny. I had previously had a Sennheiser (cable) and two digital wireless headphones. All cannot keep up with the Beyerdynamic DT990 PRO headphones. I suddenly hear details that have never been noticed before. Listening to music is fun! - Just regret that I didn't buy the part earlier. I can only recommend the headphones.

Powerful and convenient

Very comfortable to wear headphones with well-resolved sound. The bass range sounds just right in my opinion (is raised). Due to the open design, I can use the headphones for a longer time than, for example, the DT-770.

Excellent headphones

Sound incredibly realistic. With an output impedance of the amplifier of 100 ohms, the headphones create a three-dimensional space with instruments or voices that also appear three-dimensional with their own volume. All this with a very good tonality. I couldn't find too much bass or hissing highs. It reacts to external influences such as weather (changes), atmospheric (air pressure, humidity, etc.) influences, like any other hi-fi device. There are days when it just sounds different or worse, which can be expressed in peak heights and a lack of / too much bass. However, this is independent of the quality of the system. For me one of the best headphones that I know. For me personally my favorite listener. If you add the price and the good workmanship as criteria, the Beyerdynamic is unbeatable!
