Product description Ultrasones Performance 880
Closed earcups meet a titanium-coated 40 mm driver in the Ultrasone Performance 880. S-Logic Plus is designed for spatial sound reproduction; ULE technology with MU-metal shielding reduces electromagnetic radiation. The model in black and gunmetal is suitable for listening to music and for monitoring applications.
S-Logic Plus technology is part of the headphone’s Natural Surround Sound concept. Its dynamic drivers are housed in a closed design that attenuates ambient noise. The frequency range extends from 7 to 35,000 Hz, and the impedance is 32 ohms. ULE shielding is integrated as an additional technical feature.
Spacious earcups with protein leather earpads made from memory foam ensure a comfortable fit. They adapt to the shape of your head and attenuate ambient noise. The metal headband is also designed for individual adjustment; the earcups can swivel through 90 degrees. Memory foam earpads and swivelling earcups combine wearing comfort with flexible positioning.
The cable connects via a bayonet fitting and can be replaced. The set includes a 3 m cable with a 3.5 mm plug and a 1.2 m cable with a microphone and remote control for mobile devices. The shorter cable has a gold-plated, angled 3.5 mm plug. Two detachable cables cover stationary and mobile connections; cables from the Ultrasone Signature series are compatible.
The Performance 880 is suited to setups that require a wired, closed-back headphone with spatial sound reproduction and interchangeable connection cables. Its low impedance, microphone cable for mobile use and longer cable with adapter for stationary connections make it an interesting option for music lovers and monitoring applications.
