Product description Rane Serato Scratch Vinyl J Dilla Donut Limited Box
For a Scratch setup with Serato Scratch Live, the Rane Serato Scratch Vinyl J Dilla Donut Limited Box combines music and control vinyl: the two 12-inch records feature six J Dilla instrumentals on the A-sides and Serato control tone on the reverse sides. The limited set also includes two matching Donut slipmats.
The first three tracks, “Safety Dance”, “Sycamore” and “Bars & Twists”, were selected by J. Rocc from previously unreleased material. The second record features “History” (Mos Def Instrumental), “Move” (Q-Tip Instrumental) and “You Can’t Hold A Torch” (Busta Rhymes Instrumental), also previously unreleased instrumental versions from productions for the three artists.
The reverse side of each record features Serato NoiseMap control tone, designed for controlling Serato Scratch Live. In a compatible DVS setup, the software detects the movement of the record and transfers it to digital playback. Each control side contains approximately ten minutes of signal.
The two Donut slipmats from Studio No. 1 follow the set’s design theme and are intended for use on turntables. This collection suits DJs who use Scratch Live with control vinyl and are looking for a limited pressing featuring J Dilla instrumentals and matching accessories.
