Product description Pioneer Controller DDJ-Ergo-K

When DJing with a laptop, it’s important to keep the screen in view and have the key functions within easy reach on the controller. The black Pioneer DDJ-Ergo-K is a portable DJ controller with a laptop dock, integrated audio interface and USB power supply. Its detachable stand feet allow you to use it with or without the raised setup.

The controls cover four decks, as well as filters, effects, Hot Cues and sample banks with loop sampling. The 115 mm jogwheels and layout inspired by Traktor LE 2 put key DJ functions at your fingertips. The supplied software is designed for the controller; its MIDI functionality also lets you use the device with other DJ software such as Virtual DJ, Serato, djay or Mixvibes Cross DJ/Cross.

Pulse Control adds visual status indicators: the LEDs show, among other things, which deck is active and whether functions such as effects, filters or Pitch Control are switched on. Beatmatching accuracy is also visualised. This lets you check important statuses on the device without constantly looking at the software interface.

The laptop dock positions the computer above the keyboard so that the screen remains visible while you use the controller. Removing the detachable stand feet lets you adapt the controller to a lower or seated setup. P-Lock fader caps prevent the crossfader and channel faders from slipping. The K variant has a glossy black finish, with satin-matte side panels, chrome-plated Play/Cue buttons and white LEDs on the jogwheels.

The integrated audio interface provides microphone and AUX inputs, as well as master and headphone outputs. The USB-B connection powers the controller via the laptop connection; a separate power supply is not required. This model is suitable for laptop-based DJ sets where the supplied Traktor software, MIDI control of other applications and integrated audio connections fit your planned setup.
