Product description JB-Systems Invader
Three fascinating effects in one device – that is exactly what this compact all-rounder from JB-Systems offers. With a housing barely larger than a shoebox, the effect light combines LED technology, strobe, and laser into a dynamic lighting system. This means: You no longer need separate devices to create an impressive light show – one unit is completely sufficient.
The five powerful RGBWO LEDs provide colorful, moving light effects reminiscent of well-known LED clusters. At the same time, eight intense white strobe LEDs create flash-like accents in time with the music or in automatic mode. In addition, clearly defined laser beams in green and red project impressive patterns together – all while complying with the laser safety standard EN/IEC 60825-1.
The operation remains straightforward. You can choose between a simple 1-channel DMX mode or the full-featured 9-channel mode, depending on how detailed you want the control to be. If you don’t have a controller at hand, you can also use the effect music-controlled or fully automatic. Ideal for users who rely on plug-and-play and still expect professional results.
A well-designed control panel with LED display facilitates access to the settings, while inputs and outputs for power and DMX allow chaining multiple units. The Master/Slave function ensures perfectly synchronized light shows. Safety was also considered: With key switch and emergency stop connection, control remains guaranteed at all times – especially important in public use.
Despite its versatile functions, the device remains compact and easy to transport. The robust construction makes it ideal for mobile DJs, small stages, or event technicians who value flexibility. The Invader combines creative lighting design and reliable technology in a single device.

Important questions about the article JB-Systems Invader
Question: Which lighting effects does the JB-Systems Invader combine?
Answer: The unit combines a red-green laser, RGBWA LED effects and white strobe LEDs. Depending on the programme, the effect groups can also be used separately or in combination.
Question: Does the Invader work without a DMX controller?
Answer: Yes. It offers automatic programmes and a sound-activated operating mode with an internal microphone, so it can operate independently.
Question: How extensive is DMX control?
Answer: A 1-channel mode is available for simple programme selection. Those who want to control the individual functions more precisely can use the 9-channel DMX mode.
Question: Can several Invader units be operated in sync without a separate controller?
Answer: Yes. In Master/Slave mode, one unit sets the automatic or sound-activated programme while additional units follow in sync.
Question: Can the power supply be daisy-chained across several units?
Answer: Yes. In addition to the IEC mains input, the Invader has an IEC mains output for passing the power supply on to another unit.
Question: Is the Invader suitable for outdoor use?
Answer: No. The unit is designed for indoor use and should therefore only be used in dry indoor spaces.
Question: What should be considered when using the laser?
Answer: The laser must not be directed at people or animals, and direct viewing into the output aperture or beam must be avoided. The locally applicable safety regulations for laser systems apply to operation.
