Boss SL-20

The Boss SL-20 offers new great guitar sounds that never before existed! The SL-20 "hacks" the single note or guitar chord into rhythmic patterns, 50 patterns are on board. The SL-20 is not comparable to the slicer effect from the large BOSS multi-effects due to a multitude of control options (attack, duration, fade out direct signal etc.) and HARMONIC pattern (with pitch-shifting) as well as various types of stereo output (3D, Fix, Random, Ping-Pong, Auto):

It can be compared to complex rhythmic echoes, although the slicer does not delay and therefore stops immediately when the guitar is no longer playing. The recording facility (jamming to the "chopped" chord progression) and MIDI sync (e. g. to the drummer's metronome) allow for a variety of applications within the band, and thanks to the stereo inputs and outputs, the SL-20 is an absolutely inspiring instrument for creative keyboarders, DJs and producers as well as bassists and singers!

• Attack and tone length of the chopped elements adjustable (also by expression pedal)
• Recording possibility for the chopped phrase (to jam or play other chords in parallel)
• TAP TEMPO foot pedal and MIDI IN to adjust the tempo

• Foot pedal can be used as a switch (effect on or off) or as a button (effect can only be used when pedal pressure is applied to a single chord)
