In studio monitoring and broadcasting, a closed-back design helps reduce external noise during listening. The Beyerdynamic DT 250 250 Ohm is a dynamic over-ear headphone for studio, live, broadcasting and intercom applications. Its neodymium magnet system supports precise reproduction with a balanced, spacious sound.

The soft, circumaural ear pads shield against ambient noise and can be changed using a click system. The headband pad is also replaceable; the padded headband can be adjusted to fit your head size. The low weight of 240 g without cable and the stated clamping force of 4.5 N are relevant to fit and comfort during extended wear.

The connection cable is routed on one side and is detachable. The cable connection to the ear cups runs protected inside the headband. Supplied accessories include a coiled cable with a 3.5 mm stereo jack plug and a 6.35 mm adapter. An optional limiter version is also available; it limits the volume to protect your hearing.

The DT 250 is suitable for you if you are looking for a closed-back headphone with a detachable cable, replaceable ear pads and 250-ohm impedance for monitoring, studio or broadcasting work. The single-sided DT 252 is available as a related single-ear version. The 250-ohm version is suitable for setups whose headphone output is designed for this impedance.
