Product description Beyerdynamic DJX-1

When cueing on a DJ mixer, a closed-back design is helpful if ambient noise is masking the cue playback. The Beyerdynamic DJX-1 is a wired, over-ear DJ headphone with dynamic 50 mm drivers and a mono/stereo switch, so you can switch the signal to suit your monitoring situation.

The earcups can be folded away individually, rotated and locked in various positions. This lets you wear one earcup over your ear to monitor while swivelling the other one away. The headphones can be folded for storage; the movable, lockable earcups support different monitoring positions.

The three-metre straight cable is connected on one side, keeping cable routing tidy while you work. It connects via a gold-plated 3.5 mm stereo jack plug; a 6.35 mm adapter is included. The single-sided cable with two jack sizes is compatible with suitably equipped mobile devices and mixers.

The headband padding and over-ear design are made for extended wear. With an impedance of 25 ohms and a sound pressure level of 107 dB, the DJX-1 is designed for DJ monitoring; its power handling capacity is 3000 mW. The closed-back dynamic system combines a bass-focused tuning with isolation from ambient noise.

The DJX-1 is suitable for DJ setups where movable earcups, mono/stereo switching and a long connection cable are required. The included pouch makes it easy to store between sessions; the 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm connections cover both common jack socket sizes.
