Product description American DJ TRI LED Spot

A pinspot for a mirror ball should focus the beam to suit the distance and allow you to change colours precisely. The American DJ LED Tri Spot uses a 3-watt RGB LED with TRI-Color mixing: red, green and blue combine to create violet, yellow, cyan and white as well. This lets you illuminate a mirror ball or individual surfaces in colour.

The optics can be adapted to the desired beam angle: the 12° lens is pre-installed, and an additional 6° lens is included. The narrower angle focuses the light more tightly, while the 12° lens provides broader illumination. Both lenses are interchangeable.

Control options include DMX-512, Master/Slave and a music-controlled Sound Active mode; the spot can also run in stand-alone mode. In DMX mode, you can choose between three channels for RGB colour mixing and five channels with an additional strobe and master dimmer. You can set the DMX address on the device.

The 3-pin DMX inputs and outputs allow you to connect the pinspot to a DMX chain. An optional American DJ UC3 controller is also compatible. Among other things, you can use it to control standby, strobe functions and show speed.

The strobe speed is adjustable, and dimming ranges from 0 to 100 per cent. The LEDs are rated for a lifetime of 50,000 hours. With its low weight and compact design, the spot is suitable for mobile DJ setups and clubs where a mirror ball or a specific area needs to be illuminated precisely.
