American DJ TRI Color LED Moonflower Fusion FX Bar 5

Moonflower, strobe, and red-green laser effects are housed in a single bar, allowing them to be used together in one setup. The American DJ TRI Color LED Moonflower Fusion FX Bar 5 is designed for mobile shows and smaller stages where three light effects in one device are required.

The Moonflower operates with a 3W TRI-Colour LED and a stepper motor with a 1.8° step angle. For the strobe and wash effect, 90 white 5 mm LEDs are installed. The laser combines an 80 mW red and a 30 mW green diode, producing over 500 beams. In DMX mode, you can dim the Moonflower and strobe from 0 to 100 percent; the strobe speed can be varied from slow to fast. Moonflower, wash/strobe, and laser are integrated into the same bar.

For operation, DMX control, sound activation, and pre-programmed show modes are available. The device reacts to music via a built-in microphone; the sensitivity can be adjusted. In total, there are 16 show modes as well as a random program. Using the master/slave mode, multiple devices can be set up to run in sync. Show and sound modes are suitable for operation without an external DMX controller.

In DMX operation, the effect occupies seven channels of the DMX-512 protocol. A four-digit display with a four-button menu is used to set the operating mode and DMX address. The 3-pin XLR connectors allow for daisy-chaining the DMX connection. Additionally, a separately available UC3 controller can be used. Seven DMX channels give you access to the intended effect and control functions.

Power is supplied via an internal switching power supply for 100 to 240 V at 50/60 Hz. Using the IEC in and out ports, you can daisy-chain the power supply for up to ten devices. With a maximum power consumption of 32 W, no additional cooling is required for continuous operation according to the product specifications; the LED life is stated at 50,000 hours. Daisy-chain up to ten devices via IEC helps to organise the power connection when using multiple bars.

A mounting bracket is included. When hanging the device, the orientation must be chosen so that no one looks directly into the laser beam and the beam does not hit the audience. With the integrated effects, standalone show programmes, and DMX connectivity, this bar fits into mobile DJ and stage setups where compact effect lighting with a laser is required.
