Product description American DJ Revo Rave

A Moonflower effect creates its impact through moving light patterns that spread across walls and dance floors. The American DJ Revo Rave combines 162 red, green, blue and white LEDs on a rotating LED panel. The beams form changing patterns; the beam angle is 29°.

You can use the effect in three operating modes: via DMX-512, sound-activated or in a Master/Slave configuration. In Sound Active mode, the built-in microphone responds to music and starts the built-in programmes. In DMX mode, five channels, 25 colour patterns and 25 chases are available. A four-digit LED display with buttons on the rear is used to set the DMX address and operating mode.

Sound Active and Master/Slave functions are available for operation without a DMX controller. Several units can be connected for DMX or Master/Slave operation via 3-pin XLR connectors. The IEC inputs and outputs also allow the power supply to be passed from one unit to another. According to the manual, up to 50 Revo Rave units can be daisy-chained in this way; no other types of units may be included in the power chain.

Electronic dimming ranges from 0 to 100 per cent; a colour strobe complements the light patterns. A mounting bracket with safety eyelet is provided for installation. The Revo Rave can be operated with the separately available ADJ-UC3 hand controller, including functions such as blackout and chase selection.

With a power consumption of 12 W and an LED lifespan of around 100,000 hours, this effect is suitable for mobile DJ setups, clubs and smaller event venues. The unit operates at 100–240 V and 50/60 Hz and weighs 3.8 kg. This makes it a good fit for lighting systems where an RGBW Moonflower effect, DMX control or standalone Sound Active operation is required.
