Product description American DJ Revo III

Seven LED clusters cast broad, coloured beams across walls, ceilings and dance floors. The American DJ Revo III combines red, green, blue and white LEDs in an LED moonflower with seven clusters; haze can further accentuate the visible beams.

In stand-alone operation, the unit responds to music via its internal microphone and runs one of twelve sound-activated programmes. For multiple units, you can set up a Master/Slave chain with up to 16 Revo III units: one unit controls the show and the others follow its programmes. Alternatively, you can control the effect via DMX-512.

Via DMX, you can choose between 4- and 10-channel modes to control patterns, the dimmer and the strobe. The four-digit control panel is used to set the address and select functions. You can also use it to control blackout and LED switching, and rotate the display by 180 degrees.

For connection to DMX systems, the Revo III has 3-pin XLR inputs and outputs. A 6.3 mm input accepts the optional UC3 remote control, which is available separately. Via the IEC mains sockets, you can link up to twelve identical units; after that, another mains socket is required. The DMX cabling and the power connection are separate connections.

The LEDs can be dimmed continuously from 0 to 100 per cent; a strobe function is also available. The supplied mounting bracket supports installation. With a power consumption of 50 W, this effect is suitable for DJ and event setups where broad RGBW light patterns, sound-to-light operation or DMX control are required.
