Product description American DJ Revo I

A Moonflower effect distributes coloured beams across a wide area and is particularly visible with haze. The American DJ Revo I creates these effects with 49 LEDs in red, green, blue and white and is suitable for DJ sets as well as smaller stages and event spaces.

The lens focuses the light into clear beams and supports a wide beam angle. In visual comparison, the light output is approximately equivalent to that of a 250 W halogen lamp; power consumption is 13 W. The LEDs are rated for a lifespan of around 100,000 hours. The unit is designed for continuous operation and, according to the product information, does not generate heat.

Sound-to-Light and Master-Slave modes are available for automated operation. The built-in microphone responds to music; several units can operate in sync when connected in a Master-Slave configuration. Via DMX, you control the effect using four channels, including patterns, chases, strobe, chase speed and dimmer. There are 25 patterns and 25 chases to choose from; electronic dimming ranges from 0 to 100 per cent.

The Revo I can also be operated with the optional UC3 hand controller, which connects via a jack input. In DMX mode, you can programme your own sequences; the UC3 allows you to control selected functions such as blackout and strobe. A metal hanging bracket is included. This makes the effect suitable for mobile DJ setups and fixed installations where compact dimensions, low power consumption and several control options are required.
