Product description American DJ Jelly Fish
RGBW beams and an illuminated housing define the American DJ Jelly Fish: this LED lighting effect projects coloured beams through seven lenses while its transparent housing changes colour. The 84 LEDs are evenly divided between red, green, blue and white.
You can choose between three or 28 DMX channels for control. In 28-channel mode, you can control the colours channel by channel; the 3-channel mode keeps the DMX assignment simpler. Alternatively, the device operates in Master/Slave or Sound-to-Light mode. Built-in light programmes are available in these modes.
An electronic dimmer adjusts the brightness from 0 to 100 per cent. The colour strobe effect can be varied in speed. You can adjust the settings directly on the device using the four-button LED display on the rear; the separately available ADJ-UC3 controller is also compatible.
3-pin XLR connectors are used to link multiple devices via DMX. You can also pass on the power supply via the IEC inputs and outputs; according to ADJ, this allows up to 46 Jelly Fish units to be connected in a chain. The device has no moving parts and is designed for continuous operation without duty-cycle breaks.
The included mounting bracket makes installation easier. With a beam angle of 116°, the effect is suitable for broad lighting accents on dance floors and in smaller event spaces. DMX, Master/Slave and Sound-to-Light operation make it a good fit for setups where you want to switch between direct control and automatic programmes.
