Product description American DJ Inno Scan LED

A scanner directs light across a moving mirror, projecting changing colours and patterns. The American DJ Inno Scan LED combines this operation with a 50-watt LED and 6 rotating gobos for DJ and stage lighting setups. The gobos can be replaced; eight colours and white are also available.

The colour wheel and gobo wheel are separate. The gobos can be indexed and feature a shake effect. A manually focusable lens helps you adjust the projection for the required distance. The 9° beam angle concentrates the beam; strobe and pulse effects add to the range of creative options.

Control options include DMX-512, Master/Slave and sound activation. Via DMX, you can choose between 8- and 11-channel modes. Built-in lighting programmes and sound-activated operation are suitable for use without ongoing DMX control. The four-button menu with LED display lets you navigate and adjust settings on the unit.

The scanner moves the mirror along the X and Y axes. Stepper motors with a 1.8° step angle and microstepping control the movements. In pan/tilt inversion mode, four units can be grouped to operate in opposite directions in Master/Slave mode: scanners 1 and 3 run in sync, but in the opposite direction to scanners 2 and 4. DMX input and output enable signal connections to other DMX devices.

The unit is fan-cooled and has a power consumption of 103 W. The LED is rated for a lifespan of 30,000 hours. A manual UC3 controller from the ADJ UC3 series can be used as an option. Mounting brackets and a safety eyelet are included for installation.

The Inno Scan LED is suited to mobile DJ and stage lighting setups when you want to use a mirror-driven scanner with replaceable gobos, sound activation or DMX operation. The 9° beam angle and selectable number of DMX channels are particularly relevant when choosing a unit.
