Product description American DJ Illusion Dotz 4.4

A moving 4×4 light field can display individual pixels as well as a continuous colour field. The moving-head effects panel with 16 RGB COB LEDs American DJ Illusion Dotz 4.4 combines this pixel control with a 15° beam angle for moving beam and wash effects.

Each LED can be controlled individually in the RGB pixel matrix. This lets you display patterns and low-resolution video content on the panel. RJ45 inputs and outputs are available for Kling-Net and Art-Net; DMX is connected and daisy-chained via 3- or 5-pin XLR connectors. The compatible control solutions Media Master Pro, LED Master and Arkaos Media Master Express are available separately.

For integration into lighting control systems, the unit offers three DMX modes with 12, 14 or 59 channels, as well as RDMX for setting the DMX address via a controller. Five adjustable dimming curves let you adapt the dimming behaviour to the application. You can create and save scenes internally; operation is via the colour display with status LEDs and six buttons.

DMX, Master/Slave, show and sound-controlled modes are available for operation. Movement can be set to 360° or 540° pan and 270° tilt. Power is supplied via Powercon inputs and outputs, letting you power multiple units in series, up to three at 120 V or five at 230 V. Automatic voltage detection supports operation at 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz.

With 16 LEDs at 30 W each, internally stored scenes and network control, the model is suited to setups requiring moving pixel and video effects. The technical specifications help you plan DMX channels, power supply and mounting; the ADJ solutions mentioned above are suitable control software.
