Product description AKG K618 DJ

When cueing on a DJ mixer, a closed-back design helps dampen ambient noise and make quiet passages easier to hear. The AKG K618 DJ is a wired headphone for DJ use and mobile music listening; its 3D-Axis folding mechanism makes it easier to transport and store.

The ear cups are closed, and the cable runs to one side only. This single-sided cable routing keeps the connection on just one ear cup and can make the headphones easier to handle when putting them on and taking them off. The design dampens outside noise and also reduces sound leakage.

With a sensitivity of 115 dB SPL/V and a frequency response of 16 Hz to 24 kHz, the headphones are designed for clear reproduction even at low volume. The 3.5 mm stereo jack plug can be connected to suitably equipped DJ mixers and other devices using the included 6.3 mm adapter.

The K618 DJ is suitable for DJ monitoring and listening to music on portable media players and tablets with a compatible headphone socket. If you’re looking for closed-back, foldable headphones with a single-sided cable and an analogue jack connection, they fit into mobile and stationary setups.
