This device allows you to record in four different configurations - 90-degree X/Y stereo, mid-side stereo and 2-channel or 4-channel surround sound. It's simple to use - and even easier to carry.

As one of the first hand-held devices, the Zoom H-2N enables you to record in a middle-side stereo pattern. In this setting, a uni-directional mic captures sound directly in front of the microphone while a bi-directional mic records audio from your left and right. The result is an incredibly defined stereo effect. If you record in RAW mode, you can even adjust the stereo width after recording.
