Product description Ultrasones Performance 860
A neutrally tuned pair of headphones is useful when you want to assess recordings without using emphasised bass reproduction as a reference. The closed-back, dynamic Ultrasone Performance 860 with gold-plated transducer is designed for linear reproduction and is suitable for studio, Hi-Fi and mobile listening.
S-Logic-Plus technology and Natural Surround Sound are designed to create a spatial sound perception. The closed-back design also keeps some ambient noise away from your ears. ULE shielding with MU metal is also included; the model has reduced radiation in accordance with the ULE standard.
The oval ear cup design features spacious inner chambers and swivels through 90 degrees. Protein leather ear pads with memory foam and an adaptable metal headband accommodate the shape of your head. Together with the mix of soft-touch coating and glossy accents, these features define the fit and the black and Iced Silver appearance.
The single-sided cable attaches to the headphones via a bayonet lock and can be detached for transport or replacement. The package includes a straight, three-metre cable with a 3.5 mm plug; a gold-plated 6.3 mm screw-on adapter lets you connect it to compatible headphone outputs. The detachable cable connection is practical when you want to remove the cable for transport.
With an impedance of 32 ohms, the headphones can be used with many standard headphone outputs; use the supplied adapter to connect them to a 6.3 mm jack socket. The model is suitable for setups where a closed-back design and linear tuning are required for recording, monitoring or listening to music.
