When cueing as a DJ, one ear often remains free while the mix continues to play. The Sony MDR-V55 DJ supports this way of working with a foldable earcup and swivelling earcups. This closed-back, dynamic headband headphone is also suitable for listening to music on the go or at home.

The 40 mm drivers with neodymium magnets cover a frequency range of 5 to 25,000 Hz. Its closed-back design shields against ambient noise and helps you focus on the audio signal when monitoring. The ergonomic headband and padded earcups are designed for comfortable wear.

The headphones can be folded for storage. The single-sided flat cable is 1.2 m long and ends in a gold-plated, angled stereo mini plug. This keeps the cable on one side when putting the headphones on and taking them off; the L-shaped plug requires a compatible 3.5 mm jack socket.

The MDR-V55 DJ is available in several colour options, including white, as well as black/red and black/blue with a colour-accented cable and ring on the earcups. For DJ cueing and listening on the go, this model is suitable for setups with a 3.5 mm jack output where foldability, a single-sided cable and a foldable earcup are required.
