Product description Shure SE846
For in-ear monitoring, a secure fit is just as important as clear separation of the frequency ranges. The Shure SE846 is a wired in-ear monitor with four balanced-armature drivers in a 3-way system: two drivers handle the bass, with one driver each for the midrange and treble. The transparent housing also lets you see the internal construction.
The custom-fit earpieces shield you from ambient noise by up to 37 dB. This helps you focus more closely on the audio signal when monitoring. Different ear tips help you adjust the fit to your ear canal; a tight seal is important for balanced bass reproduction.
The cable can be detached at the MMCX connector, for example for replacement or storage. The package includes two transparent cables, 116 and 162 cm long. Both have a gold-plated 3.5 mm stereo jack plug for connecting to compatible headphone outputs.
With a sensitivity of 114 dB SPL/mW and an impedance of 9 ohms, the monitor is designed for use with suitable audio outputs. Its frequency range extends from 15 Hz to 20 kHz. Eartips and adapters from the Shure Fit Kit help you adjust the fit; the water- and impact-resistant carrying case protects the monitor during storage and transport.
