The V-60HD offers an impressive array of video connections, including four SDI inputs with de-interlacers, two scaled HDMI inputs, a scaled RGB input, two SDI and HDMI outputs, and a multi-view output. The dedicated Aux bus of the V-60HD can be assigned to one of the four discrete SDI channels or HDMI outputs for seamless switching from input channels. Standby images can be uploaded, and program data can be stored via the USB port.

The integrated 18-channel audio mixer of the V-60HD equips the device for nearly any requirement. It offers four XLR/TRS combo jacks with phantom power and an RCA stereo pair, in addition to audio de-embedding from the six video inputs. The V-60HD is equipped with powerful preamps and effects, including a high-pass filter, gate, compressor, 3-band EQ, and delay. You can also set the V-60HD to follow your selected video channel, allowing audio to pass through. An integrated audio mixing function takes the guesswork out of achieving correct levels. Furthermore, discrete multi-channel audio embedding facilitates easy management of multilingual events.

One of the standout features of the V-60HD is Roland's wireless tally system. This unique system uses a wireless router connected to the V-60HD to send tally information to your iOS or Android smart device. This streamlines every event and enables moderators and camera operators to identify which camera is currently active and which will be switched next.
