When desk space is limited, a compact speaker solution with straightforward signal input is important. The active 2-way monitor pair Omnitronic PME-4 is designed for DJs, home studios and multimedia applications. The amplifier is housed in one of the two speakers and also powers the second, passive speaker.

For sound adjustment, the system has separate controls for volume, bass and treble. This lets you adjust the level and sound directly on the monitors. The stereo RCA input accepts the line signal from an audio source; to connect a device without an RCA output, you may need a suitable cable or adapter.

The 2-way bass reflex system combines a 10 cm mid-bass driver with a waveguide tweeter and a 2.5 cm dome. The speakers have a robust MDF cabinet with a black finish. With 10 W RMS amplifier power and a specified frequency range of 80 to 20,000 Hz, the PME-4 is intended for compact monitoring and multimedia setups.

This makes the speaker pair suitable for a home studio or DJ workstation where an RCA source is to be connected and the sound adjusted directly on the speaker. The separate controls, active-passive speaker design and compact cabinet dimensions help you plan a space-saving setup.
