Do you want a single microphone signal to be present on both stereo channels of a recording device? The Y-wired connection cable Klotz AUXMF0150 carries a balanced mono signal from a 3-pin XLR socket to two unbalanced channels on a 3-pole 3.5 mm jack connector. This lets you connect a mono microphone to a portable recorder or another device with a stereo microphone input.

The special wiring routes the same mono signal to the left and right stereo channels. This means a mono source is recorded or played back on both channels; it does not create a true stereo signal. The cable is suitable for setups where a single balanced XLR output needs to be connected to a compatible stereo mini-jack input.

The cable uses double-shielded AC104 cable with a PVC jacket. The contacts on both connectors are gold-plated. The 3-pin XLR socket is made by Neutrik; the jack plug is also 3-pole and has a black housing.
