Product description Hercules DJ-Adv G401

When DJ mixing, one ear needs to monitor the sound playing in the room while the other previews the next track. The Hercules DJ-Adv G401 is designed for this as a closed-back, over-ear DJ headphone: its construction passively reduces ambient noise and keeps sound largely contained. 50 mm drivers cover a frequency range of 15 Hz to 22 kHz.

The ear cups can be adjusted across three axes of rotation. A vertical 180-degree rotation makes single-ear monitoring easier. The 90-degree sideways movement helps fold and position the cups, for example when you wear the headphones around your neck. A further 90-degree inward rotation makes them more compact for transport.

The curved headband has extendable arms to accommodate different head sizes. Large, soft ear pads surround the ears and distribute contact around them. Black fabric, a glossy black housing with red lines and glossy surfaces on the ear cups define the design.

With an impedance of 32 ohms and a sensitivity of 100 dB at 1 mW, this model is suitable for DJ monitoring as well as studio work and music production. The permanently attached 2 m cable with a 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack can be connected to compatible headphone outputs using the supplied 6.35 mm stereo jack adapter. This makes the headphones suitable for DJ setups and other audio equipment with these connections.
