If the sound system needs to operate without a mains socket while still accommodating a microphone and music source, a battery-powered speaker with its own connections is useful. The active 2-way system Gemini Play2Go with integrated battery plays music via Bluetooth, USB or SD card and is suitable for mobile use. According to the product information, the battery provides more than twelve hours of operation; a battery level indicator shows the remaining charge.

For speech, vocals or instruments, two adjustable microphone/instrument inputs with 6.3 mm connections are available. A stereo RCA input accommodates an additional audio source. The master and input levels can be adjusted separately. You can route the signal to another system via the link output.

The integrated media player plays files from USB storage devices and SD cards. An LCD supports track selection; buttons on the player control playback. Alternatively, you can connect a smartphone or another Bluetooth device to the speaker wirelessly. For quick transport, wheels and a retractable handle are integrated; a 35 mm flange allows mounting on a speaker stand.

The cabinet is made of aluminium. The package also includes a microphone, and the specified sound projection distance is up to 45 metres.
