Gemini MIDI CTRL-47

For scratching and pitch correction, two touch-sensitive jog wheels are available to you. The Gemini CTRL-47 combines them with a four-channel mixer and DJ software control, allowing you to mix four channels directly on the unit and operate key software functions.

Each channel has a 60 mm fader, a gain control and a 3-band EQ. The controls also let you operate loops, effects, samples, hot cues and pitch. MIDI and HID are supported; the controller is designed for use with DJ software such as Traktor. The integrated sound card operates at 24-bit and 192 kHz, and connects to a computer via ASIO drivers.

A line/phono input with RCA connectors is provided for external players. You can connect microphones via XLR or 6.3 mm jack. For output, balanced XLR outputs, three stereo RCA outputs for Master, Booth and Record, and a digital S/PDIF output are provided. You can connect headphones via 6.3 mm or 3.5 mm jack.

VirtualDJ 7 is included. The software features Beat-Lock, automatic seamless loops and a synchronised sampler; this lets you keep tracks in time and incorporate samples into the mix. The CTRL-47 is designed for DJ setups where you control four channels using hardware controls and jog wheels, and need multiple analogue and digital outputs.
