When speech intelligibility and even coverage are required, the interaction between the woofer, tweeter and horn is key. The Gemini GVX-10PWH is an active 2-way loudspeaker in a white finish: its 200-watt RMS bi-amp amplification powers the two frequency ranges separately and is suitable for speech reinforcement and acoustic performances.

A 10-inch woofer handles the low frequencies, while a 1.35-inch titanium tweeter takes care of the highs. The 80° x 60° horn with waveguide directs the sound around the room. The linear frequency response ranges from 70 Hz to 20 kHz; the internal electronic crossover operates at 1,800 Hz with a slope of 24 dB per octave.

You connect the signal via the XLR input, while the XLR thru output passes it on to additional equipment. A switch selects between full-range and monitor operation. In the monitor position, a 100-Hz low-cut filter reduces low frequencies when you use the loudspeaker as a stage monitor.

The trapezoidal cabinet can be set up as a floor monitor and mounted on a stand using the 35 mm flange. Rigging points are provided for flown installations; recessed handles make transport easier. A metal grille protects the front, and protective circuits safeguard operation against overheating, short circuits and DC voltage.

With its white finish, XLR connections and options for stand, monitor or flown use, this model suits mobile and permanently installed sound reinforcement setups that require an active 10-inch loudspeaker.
