Product description Gemini GVX-Sub 15P

In a sound system, the subwoofer handles the low frequencies and passes them on to the tops via a high-pass output. The active 15-inch subwoofer with integrated amplifier Gemini GVX-Sub 15P combines 400 watts RMS with an adjustable electronic crossover and outputs for routing the signal onwards.

You can use the control to set the crossover frequency between 55 and 200 Hz. The high-pass output sends frequencies above the selected value to connected full-range speakers; the Through output passes the input signal on unchanged. This lets you divide the signal between the subwoofer and tops as needed, or supply several speakers with the same signal.

The two balanced combo sockets accept XLR or 6.3 mm jack signals, and unbalanced sources can also be connected. There are two XLR sockets each for the Through and high-pass outputs. You can adjust the volume and phase directly on the unit; a limiter and Clip and Limit indicators complete the controls.

The enclosure is made of 18 mm MDF and features a textured, water-resistant black coating. A perforated metal grille protects the woofer, while two recessed handles make it easier to transport. You can position a compatible full-range speaker above the subwoofer using the 35 mm pole socket.

The GVX-Sub 15P is suitable for mobile PA and DJ systems as well as fixed installations. It is particularly suitable if you are looking for an active 15-inch subwoofer with adjustable crossover frequency, high-pass and Through outputs, and a pole socket.
