ESI M4U XT

M4U XT is one of the few devices that shows what Plug & Play really means: the USB 2.0 compatible MIDI interface with four outputs and four inputs is simply connected via USB to the computer running Mac OS X, Windows XP or Windows Vista/7/8/8.1/10 (32- and 64-bit) and you can get started right away - without the need for time-consuming driver installation. This means that the extremely compact interface (even smaller than its predecessor) can be used immediately in all current music applications.

All USB MIDI interfaces from ESI do not require a special driver for Mac OS X or Windows. Using the driver, which is available as an optional free download, it is also possible to operate several M4U XTs on one computer under Windows XP, Vista, 7 & 8. The driver also enables multi-client operation, i. e. several programs can access M4U XT at the same time.
