Product description Electro-Voice Speaker SXA-250
With an active full-range speaker, you do not need a separate power amplifier for operation. The Electro-Voice SXA-250 is a compact 15-inch 2-way active loudspeaker that can be used as a front-of-house system or stage monitor. Its 80° x 55° dispersion angle is designed for focused sound coverage.
Microphone and line signals are connected via separate inputs with mixing capability. Dedicated controls are available for adjusting the levels; a master control sets the overall volume. An XLR line output routes the signal to additional loudspeakers.
The integrated tone control includes separate LF and HF EQ controls for low and high frequencies. A limiter and dynamic filters protect against overload. The 18 mm plywood cabinet is angled for monitor use and features a metal pole-mount socket. The optional SK-1 hardware kit is designed for suspended installation.
With its microphone preamp, line input and line output, this model is suitable for sound reinforcement applications where signals are connected directly to the speaker and additional loudspeakers are to be linked. FOH and monitor use are its primary applications; the speaker is not intended for outdoor use.
